brightfive helps Optare unveil London’s new MetroDecker11 JUN
Last month we were chuffed to add a new client to our books, bus manufacturer Optare.
Optare, a subsidiary of the world’s largest bus manufacturer - Ashok Leyland, were chosen to produce a new fleet of fuel-efficient double deckers for the City of London.
The MetroDecker was unveiled at a special event in Covent Garden on 21st May. The event welcomed guests including the State Minister for Transport and the Minister for Energy & Climate Change, introducing the new buses and detailing the breakthrough technology used to make these vehicles a greener solution for the capital.
Optare tasked brightfive to design a custom Powerpoint template and to style the day’s presentations, ensuring every speaker’s slides looked attractive and unified. Our brief was to design 'a Powerpoint that doesn't look like a Powerpoint' - something artistic, smooth and professional.
This was a bit of a unique design challenge - producing presentations which reflected the MetroDecker’s sleek aesthetics and offering tantalising peaks at its design, without revealing too much ahead of the official unveiling.
We were very pleased to have the opportunity to work with Optare, and going by this lovely bit of feedback, it seems they were pretty happy to work with us too:
“Fantastic thank you, everyone was very impressed with the slick looking slides...please pass on our thanks to all your team for making our event a success”
Rebecca Green, Marketing Co-ordinator, Optare.
