Looking to plan a weekend away in Northumberland or the North East? Working with local entrepreneur and marketeer we were called in to build them a fully transactional rentals website.

The first phase of the project was to come up with a fresh new brand for the newly formed business. We agreed on a clean, contemporary look with a logo containing an simplified compass point guiding us towards the North East.

Functionally, the website manages the whole business process – advertisers can sign up and choose to either pay monthly by PayPal or annually by cheque. They then get access to their secure property management pages where they can add information, images, contact information, availability, and different price bands throughout the year. The advertiser area also manages enquiries and serves up visitors statistics to each customer each month.

On the public side, visitors are presented with ‘promoted’ properties on the site homepage, or can use an advanced search facility with interactive map to narrow down their searches. Once you find a property you are interested in you can find out more about it, check the availability and get in touch with the advertiser.

We’ve included loads of great original content about things to see and do in the region too and early feedback coming back from users and advertisers say that it is among the simplest, clearest site they’ve ever used.
