Continuing a long history of working with York companies Portasilo and Portastor, we were brought in to improve internal communications and streamline the distribution of news and information.

We built an exciting new intranet portal giving employees instant access to group news, contact information, personnel resources and events.

This now sits as the standard home page serving up useful company information alongside BBC news headlines, local weather forecasts and a Google search. Staff can even post items for sale in a classified advert section of the site.

The previous intranet usage had been mixed, but we’ve completely redesigned the interface, added new features and made it much quicker and more intuitive to find key information like contact details and documents. We’re looking forward to a developing a vibrant online community.
